To get the most out of any new mind toy you need to opt for regular short practices rather than longer prolonged sessions as you are going to get a lot more out of your work if you play a game for 15 minutes a day for a week than if you sit down and play it for 2 hours in one sitting. Train yourself to take short breaks regularly and return to the activity later helps facilitate the learning process and makes certain your mind stays sharp and attentive throughout the process. As with any body part if you keep using the same part all the time it shall fatigue.

It is an idea whenever possible, to combine mental exercise along with physical exercise.
